Information Collection and Use

CellarLAX is the sole owner of information collected on this site. We will not sell, rent, or share this information to others in ways different from our disclosure in this statement. CellarLAX collects information from our users at several different points on our website. Periodically you may receive information from CellarLAX regarding new features, services and special offers you may find useful. We will not share your email address with other companies or entities. You may opt out of receiving future mailings from CellarLAX by follow procedures outlined in the Choice / Opt-Out section below.

Registration

Registration is not required to utilize our website for those 21 and over. However creating an account allows future use to be faster and more enjoyable. When creating an account a new user is required to provide their name, date of birth, email address, zip code, and password. This information is used to contact the user regarding services on our site for which they have expressed interest. Providing a phone number is optional for users, but encouraged as another means of contact should any reason arise regarding an order. Some delivery services require a phone number to contact you in the event a package cannot be delivered when someone is not available to take delivery.

Ordering

We request information from the user on our order form. Users must necessarily provide contact information (name and shipping address) and financial information (credit card number, expiration date, billing address, and billing phone number). This information is used for billing purposes to verify the legal age of the customer, and to fill orders. If there is trouble processing an order, contact information is used to get in touch with the user. This information is taken in a secure area and is encrypted for our customer's protection. It is NOT sold or shared with anyone else under any circumstances.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the end-user's hard drive. It contains information that relates directly to the end-user’s visit to our web site. Information placed in the cookie is accessible only to CellarLAX, and will NOT be sold or shared with anyone else under any circumstances. We use a cookie to store a unique session identifier. This allows us to maintain your shopping cart and state selection from one page request to the next. We are also able to maintain your session information from one visit to the next. By setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have to log in more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still browse our site. Unfortunately, the user experience may be greatly diminished.

Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Sharing

CellarLAX will not share aggregated demographic information. We value your privacy very much at CellarLAX, and will never release any account information to anyone outside of the necessary core groups that help our business function, like those mentioned above unless our customers give us the authority to do so.
